It's been a real busy few weekends of travelling and gigging. We were in Kuantan on the 21st-22nd July for the Higher Ground gig. I'll let the pictures do the talking in this update.
After a 5 hour drive the previous night, the day started off with some Kuantan delicacies...beefball noodles to be exact.
The beach is a must go everytime we're up in Kuantan.
We like to thank the Kuantan dudes for taking us around and feeding us well...
Our friend and part time roadie victor would agree very much that the food was plentiful..
 For example, this fish was....HUGE...
We'd like to thank Shih Wern's parents for giving us a great lunch on Sunday..
This is our second feature on Higher Ground, Kuantan. It's always a great feeling to be back and knowing that things are still as happening if not more happening than before. Higher Ground is a monthly event where youths from various churches pool their resources and prayers to organize cutting edge youth meetings.
Here are some shots of the night, although not many and sadly from the side angle mostly...a little imagination on the electrifying atmosphere would help you visualize how it felt like.

Zhen Xin showboating his bass guitar skills to the crowd...
It was a lot of blood and sweat...ok, mayb not blood...but a lot of jumping around and screaming our lungs out...where Jason almost killed himself when he accidentily crash landed on a water bottle...note to self: keep bottles off the jumping area...
 Wohoo....no inhibitions...jump around like crazy...
Justin doing a lil unplug session with the crowd...which also turned out to be a little story telling session...about spanars and nuts and bolts...
The DRUM CHALLENGE: A vijay raj drum solo which engaged with lots of crowd involvment...a very loud solo indeed...too bad we didn't record it on video...i think we need more videos...
Higher Ground crowd...engaging with PG 165 and GOD.
Foot on wah pedal: What's a PG 165 gig without a little searing guitar solo..
Raj our manager sharing The Word with the young people that night.
It involved a challenge and an invitation to respond...
 many responded.
We'd like to thank God for all the great things He has let us witness especially outside our comfort zone. Again, it was trully satisfying although super tiring experience for all of us. =)

We'd like to thank the Higher Ground committee for having us and hosting us very well. Especially Michael Ong who allowed us to bunk in at his house. Sorry if we messed it up a little...hehe.. However, if we knew that you told the gang that we were resting and didn't want our karipaps...we would have killed you there and then... =P
We'll be up in Kuantan again in October in conjuction with some Youth Alive event...so, see you peeps there soon.
We had a blast at the One Rock event...it was a great learning experience and great photos will soon be uploaded...hehe...
Stay in tune on the developement of our EP...recording will soon commence by this month if all goes well... =)
For all you CF people...catch PG 165 at MMU CF's 10th Anniversary on the 18th Aug at the Century Makhota Hotel.
