PG 165 performed at Jam Asia, Hartamas on the 10th February. Here's a few pictures and a some videos. Excuse the video quality.

 Deric...
 Justin and Zhen-Xin...
Jason and Vijay... (This picture is courtesy of Daniel Wong.)

All these real cool pics above(except one) are courtesy of Albert Ng
We did a Switchfoot cover, their new single entitled Oh! Gravity... (the video is 4 seconds faster than the audio due to some reformatting issue when it was uploaded to Youtube)
Justin singing our self composed ballad entitled, "I Will"... Captured here is the first verse and chorus:
When all you have is lost When all you want is gone When all you need is taken away And you are standing alone
When life throws you the punches And you take it and fall Don’t be broken Don’t be broken
All you need is love All you need is Me I will carry you through And bring you through the storms
All you need is strength All you need is patience In the days of your life I will be with you
I kinda liked this video of our new single entitled, "Falling Over"...looks very indie like...
Captured here is the bridge and breakdown of the song just before rocking it up again.
Why do I feel like I am all alone? I don't feel anymore, it's like a heart of stone But all that You had done at Calvary Was to bring me back to You So I could see So I could see
Our self styled punk number entitled, "My World"...
Everyday I wake up Knowing that You are right here with me Giving me the strength To change the world, to go and be free This life I live I know it’s Yours Coz You’ve given it to me And I just wanna live for You It means everything Everything to me
You are The Only one who makes my world go round You give The sparrow a shelter for its young You gave me a chance You changed my world You changed my world
Everyday is great Life has so much meaning to me You showered me with grace You picked me up, and now I am free Help me to live this life for You Coz I owe it all to You And I’m just so in love with You It means everything Everything to me

It was a good learning experience as well as valuable exposure to perform in Jam Asia although the stage monitors was again spoilt causing us to being unable to hear ourselves sing. We met up with and old friend, Alda Tan from Cosmic Funk Express and Dragon Red fame. We also managed to check out Project Ei8ht again whose current EP track can be found on Fly.fm. Thanks to Vinder for inviting us to perform for his line up. Congrats on a gig well organized.
We met at least 3 people, some even strangers who seriously supported us in our quest to get our EP out this year. Justin actually met one lady who kinda asked him if we had an MTV of our band...what was that all about? ...hahaha...far out... Talk about encouragement...God seems to speak and excite us in different ways beyond our expectation.
Currently we have a couple of gigs lined up throughout the month of March and April. (Possibly one more in Feb)...so do keep yourselves tuned in to this blog or better still, grab a hold of a PG band member and get his Yahoo Messenger ID down...
We would like to appreciate all the friends who paid to come all the way frm melaka to support us: Justyne, Elijah, Edmund, Wayne, Joachim, Andrew, Stefanie and the KL people: Audrey, Melisa, Beatrice, Kae Ee, Wee Liem, Ann Na, Grace Lai, Dawg, Joshua Chiam, and Chee Yong...sorry if we missed out anybody. As always your support has been a realtime milestone for PG 165.
Thank God for this year thus far. Have a happy Chinese New Year!!!.Labels: band, EP, gig, indie, pg 165, songs, videos, youtube |
